During the event Nintendo Direct, se anunció el videojuego Xenoblade Chronicles 3 y se mostró un tráiler que confirma que durante el mes de septiembre se estrenará el título en Nintendo Switch.
Xenoblade Chronicles es una franquicia que se publicó por primera en la consola Wii y es desarrollado por el prestigioso estudio Monolith Soft. El primer título de la franquicia tuvo una versión para New Ninrtendo 3DS y una remasterización que agrega gráficos HD para Nintendo Switch. Adicionalmente, la segunda entrega de la franquicia se lanzó para Nintendo Switch en el año 2017.
