Mediante su cuenta de Twitter oficial de la adaptación al anime de la novela ligera The detective is already dead. (The Detective Is Already Dead), se publicaron dos imágenes que sirven para recordar a los fans los días que faltan para que el anime se estrene. Estas ilustraciones se publicaran desde el 29 de junio hasta el 3 de julio en Japón. Cabe recordar que el anime se estrenará el próximo 4 de julio de este año.
Las dos primeras ilustraciones fueron proporcionadas por la VTuber japonesa Nana Kagura, quien también interpreta el tema ending del anime «Action», y Masaaki Uigawa, quien es el encargado de dirigir la animación de la serie.

Synopsis ofThe Detective Is Already Dead:
The story follows Kimihiko Kimitsuba, a young man who four years ago became the assistant to a mysterious detective known as "Siesta" on a hijacked plane. Together, Kimihiko and Siesta took part in amazing adventures on extended journeys, while they fought against a secret organization, but it all came to an end when they were separated by Siesta's death. In the present, Kimihiko tries to return to an ordinary, boring high school life, but things are never that simple, even though the detective is already dead.
